With nearly 1.8 billion people facing water scarcity by 2050, achieving water security is at the core of the new Sustainable Development Goals framework. The framework includes a goal to gather expertise and capital from around the world to secure sustainable, universal access to clean water in the next 15 years.

Giulio Boccaletti, Global Managing Director for Water at The Nature Conservancy, discusses natural infrastructure’s role in implementing the Sustainable Developments Goals, and how these goals are an important step towards attaining global water security.
